As opposed to majority of recording software, Total Recorder records sound from another software in digital format directly without a conversion. It is possible to perform recording in any of supported sound formats: WAV, MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and APE; under Win 7 and later also MPEG-4 and 3GP.
You can use both regular recording and recording through built-in or an external scheduler. Total Recorder Standard supports playlists in M3U, PLS and WPL formats and allows working with file tags. The program also can be used as a converter between any of the supported formats.
